The 5th annual Band Day on Saturday, Nov. 4, in Bulldog Stadium will feature 27 bands and 2,500 young musicians from high schools throughout California participating in a special half-time show at the Fresno State/University of Hawaii football game.

Family Weekend planned for Nov. 4-6

Family Weekend 2000 will be held at Fresno State Nov. 4 through 6 featuring a variety of activities for students and their families such as a dessert reception on Friday evening, a pancake breakfast at the new Smittcamp Alumni House on Saturday and the football game versus Hawaii on Saturday. A University Theatre production will also be offered. Other events include bowling and entertainment on both Friday and Saturday evening and men’s soccer games versus Denver on Friday and Air Force on Sunday (prices separate). Fresno State Open House is Nov. 11

The 6th Annual University Open House will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fresno State. The special event, designed for prospective students and their parents to learn more about attending Fresno State, will feature 50 academic programs, workshops and information fairs and the popular on-the-spot admissions for eligible students.
