The Educational Talent Search Student Conference is expected to draw about 200 high schools students to California State University, Fresno on Saturday, Oct. 21 for a college preparation and motivation sessions.

Dr. Alex M. Saragoza, vice president-educational outreach for the University of California and a former Fresno State professor, will deliver the keynote address at 11:30 a.m. in the Residence Dinning hall.

The workshops will be held in San Roman Building #6 on Maple and San Ramon Avenues and conducted by representative from higher education outreach programs.

Valley high schools represented will be Kerman, Firebaugh, Mendota, Dos Palos, Tulare Union, Tulare Western, Dinuba Riverdale and Redwood.
