The Criminology Department at California State University, Fresno will host a press conference on Child Abuse Prevention Month plans on Monday, April 16, at 12 noon in the Smittcamp Alumni House, 2625 E. Keats Ave.
Criminology students will announce a variety of activities they have planned in April — including their public awareness campaign — to commemorate Child Abuse Prevention Month. The campaign will include class presentation, a panel discussion, film festival and a Website.
Representatives from the Marjaree Mason Center and youth agencies will be at the press conference to make additional comments.
