The Metro Theater Company will perform a one-man show by Nicholas Kryah, “A Short Hike on a Long Trail,” on Tuesday, July 10, at 7 p.m. in the John Wright Theater in the Speech Arts Building at California State University, Fresno (5201 N. Maple).

The play is about hiking the Appalachian Trail and is for people of all ages and backgrounds. Tickets are $3 for students, Fresno State faculty, staff and seniors and $5 for general admission.

The Metro Theater Company of St. Louis is one of America’s most acclaimed professional touring theaters for young people and families.

The CSU Summer Arts Festival, hosted by Fresno State July 1 to 27, offers 35 public events throughout the community. The internationally-acclaimed residency program features 16 intensive Summer Arts workshops bringing 350 students, teachers and arts professionals from around the country and some international artists to the campus and various locations around town.
