Tonight’s Summer Arts event, a scenic design lecture by Tony Award winning designer Ming Cho Lee, has been moved to the John Wright Theater, located in the Speech Arts Building at California State University, Fresno (5201 N. Maple Avenue).

The lecture will begin at 8 p.m. and will appeal to a broad audience. Tickets are $3 for students, Fresno State faculty, staff and seniors and $5 for general admission.

Ming Cho Lee is one of the foremost set designers in America. He has designed sets in dance, opera, and theater. Currently, he is professor of design and chair of the design program of Yale University’s School of Drama.

The CSU Summer Arts Festival, hosted by Fresno State July 1 to 27, offers 35 public events throughout the community. The internationally-acclaimed residency program features 16 intensive Summer Arts workshops bringing 350 students, teachers and arts professionals from around the country and some international artists to the campus and various locations around town.
