Video Husband accepts Fresno State "Top Dog" alumni award

February 5, 2003

About 400 persons gathered in the Fresno State’s Peace Garden at noon today to pay tribute to the late Col Rick Husband, commander of the Columbia space shuttle and alumnus of Fresno State.

Streaming video highlights of today’s Memorial Tribute and the texts of the speeches will be posted to www.FresnoStateNews.com later today or tonight for public access.

The public expression board, which contains a photo of Col. Husband on one side and a photo of the STS-107 crew on the other side, will remain on display and available for signing through Friday in the Free Speech Area on campus.

The expressions will be sent to the Husband family at a later date.
