COS Center Celebration Saturday (May 10) Starts Commencement Week

Fresno State is preparing for Commencement Week 2003 with 4,115 candidates for degrees this year. The week begins Saturday, May 10 in Visalia with the Fresno State/COS Center Celebration at 10 a.m. at the College of the Sequoias.  About 118 students are eligible to participate in the Visalia event.

For the University’s General Commencement on Saturday, May 17 at 8:30 a.m. in Bulldog Stadium, approximately 3,286 students have completed requirements for the baccalaureate degree for the 2002-2003 academic year. Masters degrees will be conferred upon 816 students.  Doctoral degrees in educational leadership, offered jointly with the University of California, Davis will be conferred on 13 students.
