Wine medals on display at Whole Foods
Saturday (May 10); Riverside results due

Fresno State will showcase its award-winning wines and medals for the community this Saturday, May 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Whole Foods Market (650 W. Shaw) in Fresno. The store, which also carries other student-produced products from the College of Agriculture Science and Technology, is located in Fig Garden Village at Palm and Shaw Avenues. In addition to a display of the medals won at the recent Jerry Mead International Wine Competition, Winemaster Kenneth Fugelsang and viticulture and enology students will be on hand. Fugelsang will autograph bottles for customers during a pouring session and answer questions about enology, culinary pairing and the program itself. Fresno State wines also competed in the Riverside International Wine Competition wine completion this weekend with results due today or Tuesday.
