Bulldog Sculpture Created by: EMI, Inc. in Visalia

  • EMI is a 25 year-old bronze sculpture casting company that produces everything from fine art bronzes to corporate awards and monuments.  Offices are located in Visalia and Foster City.

Method of Casting: Lost Wax Method

Method of Coloring the Sculpture: Patination

Artists: Dean Shipston and Blaine Black.  Joseph Garcia provided the prototype mini-Bulldog.  Sal Guerra fabricated and assembled the bronze.

Size: Approximately 10’ high with base (6 ½’ high without base), 7’ wide, 9’ long

Weight: 3200 pounds (4200 pounds including base)

Time to Complete: 15 weeks

 Base: Black Granite:  Fabricated by Strata in Porterville

Logistical Service provided by AC Freight in Fresno and Northridge Equipment in Fowler.
