As a Faculty or Staff Member, How Can I Be Involved in the Comprehensive Campaign?

Over the next several months and years, you will have many opportunities as a faculty or staff member to become involved in the comprehensive campaign for Fresno State.  Listed below are the major areas of involvement that will begin to unfold as the campaign moves ahead. 

Suggest prospective donors

• Share names

• Make connections and introductions

Represent programs, showcase expertise

• Speak to regional and local gatherings

• Offer briefings for volunteer groups

• Consent to being featured in publications

Give

• Arrange for personal payroll deductions

• Write checks

• Specify a bequest

• Promote campaign giving by colleagues

Join the team of solicitors

• Volunteer for school or department committee

• Sign on with the Family Campaign committee

• Partner with development staff on campaign project fund raising

Help with stewardship

•  Say thank you – in writing or otherwise

•  Demonstrate to donors the good effects of their gifts

Advocate for Fresno State and the campaign

•   Share positive messages

       With colleagues

       With students

       With community

•   Convey good ideas

                 To academic leadership

                 To Advancement staff
