Dec. 2, 2004 Contact: Shirley Melikian Armbruster (559) 278-2795 or (559) 593-1815 Gospel Choir Concert Monday, Dec. 13 at Fresno State The California State University, Fresno Gospel Choir will hold its annual Christmas Gospel Concert on Monday, Dec. 13, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall, located in the Music Building. The concert, titled “Not so silent night, come adore Him,” will showcase students and community performers whose artistic works are rooted in the African-American tradition. The Gospel Choir, sponsored by the Department of Africana and American Indian Studies, includes students from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. Tickets are $6 general admission, $5 students and faculty, and free for children age 7 and under. Tickets can be purchased in the Music Department Office, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or by calling 278-2654.
