·        Groundbreaking – tentatively late October 2004

·        Recreation Center component financed by student referendum: $49 fee per semester starting when open.

·        Educational components – Lyles Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Leon and Pete Peters Educational Center – financed by donors.

·        92,000 square feet, includes:

1. 13,000 square-foot fitness center with cardiovascular and free

    weights for able-bodied and disabled students.

2. Racquetball courts

3. Aerobic and dance studios

4. Jogging/running track

5. Four full-size courts for intramural basketball, volleyball,

    badminton

6. Shower/locker rooms

7. Leon and Pete Peters Educational Center, a 300-seat tiered

    auditorium with the latest “smart classroom” technology

8. Permanent home for Lyles Center
