Charter Schools Press Conference April 14 – Media Access and Parking

Media instructions for the 10 a.m. press conference Thursday morning (April 14) Gov. Schwarzenegger’s Initiative to Turn Around Failing Schools at University High School on the Fresno State campus:

WHEN: Thursday April 14, 2005

10 a.m. —

WHERE: University High School – Room T-1 C (portable classroom on Keats at Lot D

entrance)

ACCESS: From Shaw Ave., enter at Maple or Barton, proceed to Keats Ave. (from

Maple turn left, from Barton turn right). See parking below … follow parking officers’ instructions. DO no park or drive on sidewalks.

PARKING: Non-TV news media — use reserved parking spaces in Lot D, southeast corner

(nearest the UHS portables) will be designated.

TV Equipment vehicles — use reserved parking spaces on Keats Ave. in front of the UHS main office (next to the Speech Hearing Clinic spaces).

For safety and emergency considerations, NO PARKINGON SIDEWALKS due to limited space and high pedestrian foot traffic in that area. Thank You.
