Fresno State ranked among top 50 nationally in
granting bachelors degrees to minority students

California State University, Fresno is among the top 50 colleges and universities on the Black Issues in Higher Education's "Top 100," a national list of colleges and universities that conferred the most bachelor's degrees on minority students in 2003-2004, according to data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Fresno State is among 14 CSU campuses in the magazine’s list, reported the CSU Public Affairs office today.

The CSU campuses in the "Top 100" are Fullerton (6th), Long Beach (8th), San Francisco (11th), San Diego (12th), Northridge (13th), San Jose (14th), Los Angeles (17th), Pomona (23rd), Sacramento (30th), Dominguez Hills (42nd), Fresno (43rd), San Bernardino (52nd), East Bay (53rd), and San Luis Obispo (60th).
