Stop the Hate Week begins Sunday, Oct. 2
“Stop the Hate Week – Building a Culture of Peace” will be observed at California State University, Fresno during the week of Oct. 2-8.

The Fresno State program includes the signature event, the garlanding ceremony for the Mahatma Gandhi statue in the Peace Garden on Oct. 2, to mark his birthday, followed by a candlelight vigil.

Vice President for Advancement Dr. Peter Smits will read a proclamation from university President John D. Welty.
