Fresno State to host event with Greg Forbes Siegman Feb. 23

California State University, Fresno will host a special event for its students with Jefferson Award for Public Service honoree Greg Forbes Siegman on the evening of February 23.
 
Siegman – whose own college experience serves as the basis for The First Thirty by Jillip Naysinthe Paxson – will speak with Fresno State students about service, diversity and making the most of your time in college.  A book signing and reception will follow.
 
In advance of the visit, student groups such as Leaders of Tomorrow (part of Fresno State Leadership Program) are now reading The First Thirty.
 
Siegman is coming to Fresno to speak at the 2006 Valley Business Conference on the day of February 23. He will speak about the civic and social applications of business during the event’s Morning Session. The other Morning Session Speaker is Executive Speech Coach & Sales Trainer Patricia Fripp. The Luncheon Keynote Speaker is John Sculley, former CEO of Apple Computer and former President & CEO of Pepsi.
