The new home of Lyles Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at California State University Fresno will welcome its first visitors at an open house for the campus and community from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 19.

The center has moved into a spacious new suite on the second floor of the Student Recreation Center at Fresno State, at the northeast corner of Shaw and Woodrow avenues. Parking restrictions will be relaxed in the North Lot adjacent to the building during the open house.

Guests that day may tour the center and learn about its programs from staff members. Also present will be Fresno State President John D. Welty; Provost Jeronima Echeverria; William M, Lyles, who heads Lyles Diversified Inc., the Fresno construction and real estate company that provided funds to establish the center in 2001; Dr. Timothy Stearns, Coleman Foundation Chair in Entrepreneurial Studies and director of the Lyles Center; and Mike Hennessey, president of the Coleman Foundation.
