The fall 2005 issue of FresnoState Magazine, which featured the university’s work at the forefront of emerging technologies in agriculture, food and industrial science, was recognized with a silver award at the ninth annual Showcase of Print Excellence Awards.

Pacific Printing in Fresno, which prints the magazine, submitted the issue, along with other publications that it produces. Competing against nearly 475 entries from printing and graphic arts firms, Pacific Printing received a total of six awards, said company president Brad Stiers.

The Showcase of Print Excellence recognizes those responsible for the creation and production of print communications in Northern California and Northern Nevada.
