The inaugural International Water Technology Conference slated for April 2-4, 2007, at California State University, Fresno will focus on how water technology innovations and science can help ensure future water supplies.

The goal of the conference is to bring together the best minds in the water technology and science arenas to discuss water technology and its applications in water supply, water reuse, irrigation and ozone science.

Sponsored by the International Center for Water Technology (ICWT), the event will include end users, manufacturers and innovators to cover a wide range of needs, applications and experiences.

“There were so many parallels to the research, technology and objectives of both of these areas of research and technology, it was a natural fit to partner together in this event,” said Dr. David Zoldoske, Fresno State professor and director of ICWT.

The event will also include technical presentations and exhibits associated with Ozone V and its applications in water treatment, food processing and agriculture as it is used to inhibit bacterial growth in water and processed foods.

ICWT was established in 2001 as a public-private partnership dedicated to the development and application of advanced technologies that enhance water use for urban, environmental and agricultural purposes and improve water utilization. Through applied technology, ICWT’s goal is to provide efficient first use and effective reuse of water supplies worldwide.
