The Farm Market at California State University, Fresno is toasting the new year with a 10 percent discount on student-produced Fresno State wines.
The discount is applied to all the vintages still in stock from Fresno State Winery, the nation’s first commercial winery on a college campus. The just-introduced Solaré, Fresno State’s first ice wine made from frozen grapes, is included. The Farm Market offers the broadest selection of Fresno State wines from an attractive cellar.
The Fresno State Farm Market also sells a wide variety of student-produced meats, dairy products, decorative plants, fruits and vegetables, nuts and such items as barbecue and spaghetti sauce and fruit syrups and jams.
Proceeds from the sales benefit students in the university’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology.
Although the university itself will be closed from Dec. 23 through Jan. 1, the Farm Market will be open many of those days.
It will be open today from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and tomorrow (Dec. 23) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Farm Market will close Sunday, Dec. 24, through Tuesday, Dec. 26.
It will reopen at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, and be open through Dec. 29 on a 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. schedule. The market also will be open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 30, then closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.
