Mid-season auditions are under way for singers to join the Fresno Community Chorus, which is directed by Dr. Anna Hamre, an associate professor of music at California State University, Fresno.
All voice parts are sought for the repertoire that includes Handel’s “Judas Maccabaeus” and Monteverdi’s “Vespers,” plus Bruckner’s “Te Deum” in performance with the Fresno Philharmonic Orchestra.
Auditions will be held in Fresno State’s Music Department Concert Hall. Each individual must bring a short piece to sing, along with sheet music.
