A committee of the California State University Board of Trustees today considered and recommended for approval without opposition the Final Environmental Impact Report and other components of the Campus Pointe project at Fresno State.

The full board will consider the matter for final approval on Wednesday.

The Committee on Campus Planning, Building and Grounds, meeting in CSU headquarters in Long Beach, recommended that the full board:

Certify of the Final EIR

Approve the proposed Campus Master Plan revision dated March 2007

Approve an amendment to the 1006/2007 non-state Capital Outlay Program

Trustee Moctesuma Esparaza, vice chair of the committee, did not vote in the matter, citing a business interest in the proposed theater at Campus Pointe.
