The Fresno State Bulldog Foundation fund drive got underway last Thursday and will continue through May 24.  The theme of this year's drive is “Beyond the Game” which emphasizes the preparation of strong student-athletes for the future.

Scholarship donations benefit Fresno State's student-athletes not only now but in the years to come as their experience at Fresno State helps define their character and prepare them for future roles as community leaders, spouses and parents, plus as teachers and coaches of our children and grandchildren. 

Donations to The Bulldog Foundation are critical to ensuring that Fresno State's student-athletes can compete at a national level athletically and excel academically.

Donations are used to:

• Prepare student-athletes for future community leadership opportunities.

• Supports all student-athlete scholarship needs for 17 Division-I sports.

• Keep pace with increased costs of room, board, books and state fees.

• Support academic programs that help Fresno State student-athletes post strong academic scores.  Last semester 53% of 478 student-athletes earned a 3.0 or higher GPA.

• More than 17,000 student-athletes have received support through The Bulldog Foundation.

Bulldog Foundation membership opportunities include:

• Ticket priority in all sports including the possibility of sitting at the 50-year-line in football.

• A 30% discount for donors 21 to 39 years old.

• First Team donors can sponsor the annual athletic scholarship cost for a starting position of their choice on one of six Bulldog teams.

• For just $200 a Bullpup membership provides two tickets for every home game in the sport of choice to one of 50 valley youth organizations.
