Children from Bal Gokolam from the Hindu Temple of Fresno will sing nationalist and patriotic songs.

Performers under the direction of Urmi Choudhry will sing songs that were Gandhi’s favorites.

After the program will be garlanding of the Gandhi statue in the Peace Garden. Those who wish to participate are asked to bring flowers.

On Tuesday, Oct. 2, a candlelight vigil for world peace and observance of International Day of Non-Violence, as declared by the United Nations in honor of Gandhi, will be held in the Peace Garden starting at sunset.
