Fresno State’s Hispanic Business Student Association and the Sid Craig School of Business will give students an opportunity to meet community and business leaders to assess internship and job prospects at Corporate Night on Monday, Oct. 15.

The event begins at 6 p.m. at Arte Americas, 1630 Van Ness Ave., in downtown Fresno.

“By speaking to company and community representatives, students have a better understanding of real-world situations and what to expect upon graduation,” said Fresno State business major Aide Ledezma, HBSA director of community relations. The twice-yearly event also is a way for the student organization to build partnerships with businesses.

Companies scheduled to participate in Corporate Night include Target, Pelco, Paramount Citrus, Citibank, Enterprise, Center for International Trade, Ruiz Foods, Northwestern Mutual Financial, U.S. Department of Commerce, Wells Fargo, Walgreens, Encourage Tomorrow, California Teacher Recruitment Program, Aflac, U.S. Department of Energy and Prudential.
