Campus forum on state budget crisis March 13

A forum for the Fresno State community on the state budget crisis will be held Thursday, March 13, at 11 a.m. in the Satellite Student Union.

The forum is sponsored by President Welty, the Joint Labor Council, the Academic Senate, the Staff Assembly and the Associated Students, Inc. Members of the campus community are encouraged to attend to get facts about the budget crisis and learn how they can take action to let lawmakers know the importance of the California State University and the education we provide to students.

Speakers, including President Welty and representatives of faculty, staff, students and alumni, will be followed by a question-answer session.

The forum is open to the public.
