California State University, Fresno’s Health Policy Leadership Program seeks applications for a new cohort after 30 government, advocacy, public health, education, business and media leaders in its third group (pictured here) graduated April 18.

In its short tenure, the Health Policy Leadership Program has graduated nearly 80 professionals from throughout the region. Classes for the next 10-month program begin May 15.

The Central Valley Health Policy Institute at Fresno State organizes the program, a one-of-a-kind, intensive program designed to help individuals from a range of disciplines work together on the central San Joaquin Valley unique health and health care challenges. The program, which is funded by The California Endowment, also links past and current participants to form a strong network of regional leaders.

Applications for the fourth cohort will be accepted through April 30.
