The American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) has renewed the accreditation of the construction management program in the College of Engineering at California State University, Fresno. The renewal term is six years.

The program enrolls 250 students and is home to the Center for Construction Excellence.

In a written statement, the board of trustees of the ACCE said the Fresno State program has maintained “stringent standards.”

Graduates join management staff on prominent California projects, including hospitals, schools, rapid transit and water treatment projects. More than 95 percent of students are offered jobs before graduating.

ACCE was established in 1974 to be a leading global advocate of quality construction education, and to promote, support and accredit quality construction education programs around the world.
