Valentine’s Day lovers can share Fresno State Bulldog romance by giving Cupid packages of student-produced gifts, anchored by Muscat Canelli and Vin D’une Nuit wines chosen for their sweet nature, during the Farm Market Valentine’s Affair through Wednesday, Feb. 14.

One special Valentine gift from the Farm Market is two free Fresno State wine glasses with the purchase of a case of Fresno State Wine. The glasses, bearing the Fresno State Farm Market logo, are making their debut with the promotion.

Because of the romantic celebration, this month’s second Tuesday ice cream tasting will be moved to Wednesday. So anyone who stops by the Fresno State Farm Market on Valentine’s Day can sample two new flavors of Fresno State ice cream: Raspberry Romance and Sinfully Cinnamon.

Valentine’s gift baskets with wine glasses, wine, chocolate raisins and almonds range from $25 to $50. Free samples of chocolate raisins and almonds also will be provided all day on the 14th. Also available will be a limited quantity of Fresno State’s Solaré dessert wine, which won a Double Gold Medal in the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition in January,

For last-minute Valentine’s Day shoppers, the Fresno State Horticulture and Floral Lab will sell single roses and carnation arrangements wrapped in cellophane and a bow at the Farm Market. Plant science students also will be in front of the Kennel Bookstore on campus from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Valentine’s Day to sell bouquets and vase arrangements.

Products produced by students on the University Agricultural Laboratory (campus farm) are sold in the Farm Market to help benefit programs in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology.
