The Fresno State Alumni Association welcomes dozens of alumni to campus on Friday, June 6, for the annual Golden Grad Society Luncheon. This year, those who graduated in 1958 will be spotlighted, but grads from earlier years also will attend. The event begins with a tour of the campus, which was in its infancy in 1958. That was shortly after the move began to the current Cedar and Shaw avenue campus from the site of the current Fresno City College in midtown Fresno.

A luncheon gathering after the tour will be held at the Smittcamp Alumni House, the campus’ signature mansion-style building that is home to the Alumni Association.

While the Class of 1958 will be honored, the oldest graduate scheduled to attend is Margaret (Fitzpatrick) Whitten, who received her degree in education from Fresno State in 1939.
