Dr. Doug Hensler, dean of the Craig School of Business at California State University, Fresno, has accepted a position as dean of the W. Frank Barton School of Business at Wichita State University, effective June 16.Hensler announced his move to the Craig School faculty on Tuesday and expressed his appreciation for their work.

“There are very many truly outstanding faculty and staff members in the Craig School of Business. That is where the strengths of the Craig School are, so I am sure that the school will continue on its path of excellence,” he said.

“It has been my great privilege to serve those people and the outstanding students that we see every year. I will miss them all very much.”

Hensler joined the Craig School as dean three years ago. Provost Jeri Echeverria said that under his leadership, the faculty and staff have accomplished a great deal.

“Initiatives like the Professor-in-Residence program, Craig School Career Pathways and the Dr. Arnold and Dianne Gazarian Real Estate Center will have lasting contributions to businesses and economic development in the Central Valley,” said Echeverria.
