The Craig School of Business at California State University, Fresno has appointed Lynnette Zelezny as its interim associate dean effective July 15.

Zelezny earned her Ph.D. in Applied Social Psychology in 1998 from the Claremont Graduate University and her M.B.A. with distinction from the Craig School of Business at Fresno State in 2005. In addition, she has professional certificates in management from Harvard University and in executive leadership from the Wharton School of Business.

Zelezny has taught at Fresno State for 20 years. Recently, she served as the chair of the Department of Psychology and as the Chair of Chairs at Fresno State. Her numerous teaching, research, and mentoring awards include Carnegie U.S. Professor of the Year nominee.

Currently Zelezny is the co-director of a $4.5 million grant from the National Institute of Health to develop biomedical infrastructure for the California Central Valley. She served as the vice president of Leadership Fresno (Class 24), which is affiliated with the Fresno Chamber of Commerce; currently, she serves on numerous community boards. She is married to John Zelezny, senior vice president of Community Medical Centers, and has three children.
