Most California State University, Fresno offices and programs will be closed Dec. 25 through Jan. 2 for Winter Break.

Faculty and staff will observe Christmas, New Year’s Day and three previous state holidays on which the campus remained open. Employees also take two vacation days during the closure.

Here is some specific office/program information:

The Rue and Gwen Gibson Farm Market is closed Dec. 24 through the 26 and Dec. 31 through Jan 1. Otherwise, it is open Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

The Student Recreation Center is open Dec. 22 -23 from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m., Wednesday Dec. 24 from 8 a.m.-noon and closed Thursday Dec. 25 – Sunday Jan. 4. It will open Jan. 5 from 6 a.m.-8 p.m.

Library services are open Dec. 22-23 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Dec. 24 from 8 a.m. to noon and closed Dec. 25 through Jan. 4. Services reopen Jan. 5.

Food Services will be open until Dec. 24 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed Dec. 25 – Jan 4. The University Dining Hall will reopen at 10 a.m. Jan. 19.

The University Student Union will be closed Dec. 24-Jan 4.

Student Housing office will be open Dec. 22-24 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed Dec. 25- Jan 5. The regular 24-hour service will resume Jan. 18.

The Kennel Bookstore is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Dec. 23, and from 8 a.m. to noon Dec. 24. The bookstore will be closed Dec. 25 to Jan. 4 and will resume normal hours on Jan. 5.

Parking restrictions in green lots are relaxed throughout the entire winter break.

Students return to classes on Jan. 21, 2009.
