In response to the critical nursing shortage in the San Joaquin Valley, the California State University, Fresno Department of Nursing will admit a new cohort of students into its accelerated entry level master’s (ELM) nursing program in May 2009.

This unique graduate program offers non-nurses the opportunity to become registered nurses and enter the nursing field with a Master of Science in Nursing degree.

To be admitted to the program, individuals must possess a bachelor of science or bachelor of arts degree in any field and have completed the required nursing prerequisite courses by the end of the Spring 2009 semester.
