California State University, Fresno will be closed Friday, Sept. 4, and Monday, Sept. 7.

Friday is an unpaid furlough day at Fresno State for both academic and administrative employees. All offices and the Henry Madden Library will be closed and there will be no classes. Faculty will assign alternative instruction for students.

Monday is the Labor Day holiday and the university also will be closed.

Offices will reopen and classes will resume Tuesday, Sept. 8. The library will be closed Friday through Monday and will reopen at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday.

The Rue and Gwen Gibson Farm Market will be open Friday and throughout the holiday weekend. The University Student Union will be closed Friday, but open the rest of the holiday weekend.
