California State University, Fresno, will observe Constitution Day on Thursday, Sept. 17, with a panel discussion at 11 a.m. in the Satellite Student Union on reforming the California Constitution.

The events are intended to draw attention to the anniversary of the signing of the Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787, and to educate Americans about democracy.

The panel will be comprised of Jim Boren of the Fresno Bee, political science professor, Jeff Cummins, Heather Fargo of the California Forward and supervisor Henry Perea of the Fresno County Board of Supervisors, District 3.
