The Lyles College of Engineering at California State University, Fresno will host an open house for high school and community college students and their families, teachers, counselors and the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, in the Engineering East Building.

Attendees will learn about Fresno State’s nationally accredited Bachelor of Science degree programs in civil engineering, computer engineering, construction management, electrical engineering, geomatics engineering and mechanical engineering.

There also will be information on the Lyles College of Engineering’s Honors Program, scholarships, industry internships, the university admission process and Pathways, the comprehensive student services program.

Visitors will be able to interact with students and faculty working on an unmanned aerial vehicle laser tracking system, embedded systems, a racecars, sensor networks, sustainability, energy, structures and many more. There will also be hands-on exhibits, laboratory tours, workshops and campus tours.

Engineering students, faculty, staff and professionals from industry will be available to answer questions throughout the event.
