The 37th annual Chican@ Youth Conference on Jan. 30, at California State University, Fresno, will present workshops for students about college- and community-level resources on politics, culture, environment, academics and the arts.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Siempre Adelante: Strive for Your People, Your Culture, Your Future, Your Education.”
Registration is 8-9 a.m. at the Satellite Student Union (2485 E. San Ramon Ave.). Workshops and other activities continue until 4:30 p.m.
The free event is hosted by the student organization, El Movimiento Estudiantil Chican@ de Aztlán (MEChA) and University Outreach Services.
