CSU launches blog to share university stories

February 2, 2010 – 2:58 PM

The California State University is inviting students, faculty, alumni, employees and friends of the 23-campus system to become bloggers and share their university story online at http://blogs.calstate.edu/voicesviews.

The first is a video blog of former California State University, Fresno Provost Jeri Echeverria, who last year became the CSU’s executive vice chancellor and chief academic officer.

Echeverria discusses the CSU Graduation initiative, designed to help students graduate within six years, and her own story as a first-generation college student, which is detailed at Fresno State’s first-generation Web site: http://firstgeneration.csufresno.edu/stories/echeverria.htm.
