Student e-mail change deadline is April 30

Student e-mail is changing at California State University, Fresno.

After April 30, all Fresno State students will be required to have a Gmail account. E-mail sent to students’ addresses at csufresno.edu will be forwarded to their Gmail accounts until June 30. Students’ csufresno.edu will not be functional after June 30.

To create your account on the new Google Apps e-mail system, go to http://googleapps.fresnostate.edu/. For help migrating to the new system please visit the Help Center at https://help.csufresno.edu/students/googleapps/index.php or call the campus Help Desk at 278.7000.

All students will be asked to use the new system beginning May 1. The university will begin automatically creating accounts after April 30 for those who haven’t taken this step.

    How do you set up the Gmail App for your iPhone. I have followed the instructions and it keeps saying the password I have choosen is similar to my first or last name and that it is insecure. Every time I have tried it i chose a password that is not close to it and it still says that!!!

    I am trying to access Gmail through iPhone. I keep following the directions and when i try to set the password it says i am choosing a password to close to my name when i am not. What's the deal???
