Registration is open for both the May-June Intersession and the Summer Session 2011 through California State University, Fresno’s  Division of Continuing and Global Education.

Registration closes and fees are due April 25 for the intersession, which is May 23-June 10. After evaluating which classes will be a “go,” registration reopens April 29 and continues through the first day of classes, space permitting. Students may complete up to four units.

Registration closes and fees are due May 24 for summer session (June 13-Aug. 12). After determining which classes are viable, ” registration reopens May 31 and continues through the first day of classes, space permitting. Students may complete up to 12 units during Summer Session.

Anyone – Fresno State students, those from other campuses and community members not formally admitted to the university – is eligible to enroll in a selection of nearly 100 courses.

“Taking classes during the summer allows students to expedite their progress towards graduation,” said Dr. Berta González, associate vice president of Continuing and Global Education. “Intersession and Summer Session provide the opportunity to finish a course faster, graduate faster and ultimately pay less in tuition. Additionally, many students appreciate the flexibility of concentrating on just one course at a time.”

Fees for May-June Intersession are $290 per unit.  Summer Session fees vary.

Matriculated students may register for both by logging in to my.csufresno.edu. New or non-matriculated students can find registration information at www.csufresno.edu/cge/registration/credit.shtml
