Children’s writing contest entries accepted through July 1

The Wild About Books! Writing and Illustration Contest for children in Grades 3-12 in Fresno, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced and Tulare continues through 5 p.m. July 1. Students competing for $50 top prizes in each of three age groups. Award-winning submissions will be published in an anthology in December.
