Dr. Andrew Hoff, dean of Fresno State’s College of Health and Human Services is ranked 55th among the 100 Awesome Deans of Public Health listed by the Master of Public Health website.
Selections to the list were based on the personal achievements of each dean as well as the reputation of the institution.
Hoff, a Fresno State alumnus, has been a faculty member and administrator since 1987. In 1989, Hoff completed his Ph.D in recreation and leisure at the University of Utah. Before becoming dean of Health and Human Services in 2009, Hoff was interim dean of the Lyles College of Engineering at Fresno State, following service as the associate dean of the College of Health and Human Services.
Hoff also is dean of the College of Science and Mathematics.
