The final event for Hispanic Heritage Month at Fresno State is a screening of “Miss Representation” at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at the Henry Madden Library, Room 2206. The documentary depicts mainstream media’s role in the underrepresentation of women in positions of power and influence in America and features Rosario Dawson and Katie Couric among others. The event is hosted by Fresno State’s student club Entre Mujeres, the university’s Center for Women and Culture and by Hispanas Organized for Political Equality, a community group.
