For the first time, Fresno State students will be able to cast their votes on campus.

The Associated Students Inc., working with the Fresno County Elections Department, will provide a precinct at the Satellite Student Union for the Presidential (General) election, with voting 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6. The Satellite Student Union is just south of the intersection of San Ramon and Maple avenues and at the north end of the campus’ Maple Mall.

The precinct serves registered voters who live on the campus in University Courtyard residence halls and living units at Campus Pointe.

The on campus polling station will also be available for any Fresno County voters to drop off absentee (vote-by-mail) ballots or who want to vote provisionally because they didn’t request an absentee ballot, didn’t received one that was requested or for some other reason.

To accommodate voters, parking will be relaxed in Lots O and P and on Maple Avenue, between Barstow and San Ramon avenues.

Additionally, members of the Bulldog baseball team will assist at Fresno County’s Elections Warehouse at 4525 E. Hamilton Ave. in Fresno and various drop-off locations to help election officials unload materials and equipment from precincts after balloting is completed.
