The Fresno State Alumni Association announced the launch of the Bulldog Shopping Network, an online retail program that generates funds for the alumni association.

Fresno State supporters can participate by downloading the free Bulldog Shopping Network browser at Bulldog Shopping Network.com. Once the browser add-on is installed, online purchases made at thousands of retail stores will automatically generate donations to the alumni association.

“This is a free, easy way for the community to show its support for Fresno State,” said Jacquelyn K. Glasener, Executive Director of the Fresno State Alumni Association. “With this network, regular online shopping can potentially generate significant revenue for the Alumni Association and its scholarship endowment.”

The browser add-on makes it simple for shoppers to know which merchants belong to the Bulldog Shopping Network – a paw print icon will appear in the search engine results next to participating retailers.

All donations made through the network are tax-deductible for shoppers.

The Fresno State Alumni Association was founded in 1912 to help students maintain a life-long connected to their alma mater. Today the association is committed to engaging alumni though activities, growing the scholarship endowment and showcasing the achievements of Fresno State alumni.

Earlier this year the association eliminated its dues-paying membership model. Now membership is automatically bestowed to all former and current students, alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends of the university.
