A fourth team of Fresno State Marketing students will attempt to create the world’s largest serving of salsa, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 7 at PR farms in Clovis (2917 E. Shepherd Ave). The goal is to create 3,500 pounds of salsa and surpass the standing record of 2,672 pounds. They are the fourth team of Fresno State marketing students attempting to break Guinness World Records; the first three all reported successful attempts – the largest mousse, the largest lemonade and the largest salsa. A fifth “record upset” is being planned, by another team in Dr. William Rice’s marketing class, for Dec. 12 but details are not final.
