La Posada features T.O.R.T.I.L.L.A. performance Dec. 14

The 6^th Annual Posada Comunitaria will be held 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at International Company (4277 N. West Ave.). The event features Fresno State’s Latino theatrical club, Teatro of Raza Towards Involvement in Local Latino Awareness (T.O.R.T.I.L.L.A.) performing its version of La Pastorela, a Christmas play parody based on the shepherds’ journey to Bethlehem. The evening is presented by the Education and Leadership Foundation and will include a buffet style dinner, dance with mariachis and a raffle benefiting ELF, whose mission is to promote educational opportunities and leadership development for all students.
