Fresno State President John D. Welty will deliver his last state-of-the-campus speech at the Spring 2013 Faculty and Staff Assembly 9 a.m. Monday, Jan.14, in the Satellite Student Union. The president announced his retirement last August at the fall assembly. During his 21-year tenure as head of Fresno State, which ends next August, he addressed university employees twice a year at the fall and spring assemblies prior to the start of classes each semester. Classes begin Jan. 17 for the spring.
