Music Department Gala Concert is Jan. 18

The Fresno State’s Music Department Gala Concert and reception is 8-10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, in the Concert Hall (Maple and Keats Ave.) on campus. Fresno State music faculty and students will perform W. A. Mozart, Overture to the Abduction from the Seraglio (K.384); F. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Symphony No. 4 in A major, Op. 90, “Italian”; and N. Rimsky-Korsakov, Capriccio espagnol, Op. 34. Tickets to this event are $20 for general admission, $15 for staff/faculty and $10 for seniors or students. Proceeds benefit music scholarships.
